Johnnie Adkison Jinks, Christian City, died July 24, 2007. She was born in Chattahoochee, Fla., and reared in Prescott, Ariz. She was an accomplished artist, decorating her home with her oil paintings. She and a friend were the first volunteers with the Clayton County Mental Health. Services were at the Fayette Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David Black, the Rev. Rob Sparks, and the Rev. Cliff Haddox officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include her husband of 48 years, J. Massion Jinks, Christian City; a sister, Leila A. McKinnon, a nephew, James L. McKinnon; and a niece, Catherine M. Anderson, all of Carrollton. Memorial donations may be made to Southwest Christian Car, 2775 Lester Road, Union City, GA 30291 or Christian City Children's Division, 7345 Red Oak Road, Union City, GA 30291. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
