Marwin and Connie Hallford, long time residents of Fayette County, celebrated their 50th anniversary in their home surrounded by family and friends on July 14, 2007. They were married in Atlanta at the ages of 15 and 17 on July 12, 1957 and bought their first home in East Point. Marwin established Hallford Electric where he and Connie worked in the electrical business for 30 years. They were among the first to build their home on Ebenezer Church Road when living in Fayette County was “in the country” and it was here they raised their two children, Paul and Melanie. The Hallfords now have three grandchildren, Darrell Hallford and Cheyenne and Shawnee Roberts. After retirement from his own electrical business, Marwin Hallford worked as electrical inspector of Fayette County for 12 years until his recent retirement January of this year. login to post comments |
