The Gym South Level 5 girls team barely missed team finals (Top 12) of the state championship this year.

Individually, Shayla Moore is the state vault champion (9.525) champion and Lauren Spier is the state floor champion (9.475) and state bars champion (9.4). Kirstie Barkroot and Moore were both second on the floor and all-around, Spier was third on the all-around and Shamira Johnson was fifth on the vault.
