Are you a Fayette woman who practices law and appreciates networking with other women in the field? If so, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) has established a forum for you in Fayette County.

On Friday, June 15, GAWL held its premiere Neighborhood Networking Breakfast of Fayette County. The breakfast was the first of GAWL’s to unite the women attorneys of Brooks, Fayetteville, Peachtree City, Senoia and Tyrone, within the borders of Fayette County.

The event, held at J. Christopher’s in Peachtree City, was coordinated by Amy Pettway of Fayetteville. One of the highlights of the breakfast was the announcement of the long-awaited formation of a GAWL Southside Chapter. The chapter is in the planning stages and is expected to encompass several counties south of Atlanta, including Clayton, Coweta, Henry and Fayette.

If you’re interested in upcoming Neighborhood Networking Breakfasts or know other attorneys who’d like to join, contact Amy Pettway at amypettway@hotmail.com.
