The second Winter Flurry race of the season was held at Atlanta Motor Speedway last weekend and the races were hotly contested with several local racers doing very well.

Brooks’ Matt Dooley placed sixth in the Bandolero Bandits race, while former Fayetteville resident and Starr’s Mill graduate Trey Maughan defeated his father, who placed second, in the Bandolero Outlaws race. Peachtree City resident and Atlanta Motor Speedway president Ed Clark won the Roadsters race, while Brooks’ Billy Fulson placed 22nd in the Legends Main feature.

The third Winter Flurry race of the season will take place on January 7.
