Five local teams crack top 20 of South Metro tournament

McIntosh High School hosted the South Metro Invitational wrestling tournament last Friday and Saturday and all of the local teams partcipating placed in the top 20. Starr’s Mill finished fourth with 165 points, while Fayette County placed 11th with 104 points, Whitewater placed 14th with 91 points, McIntosh took 15th with 85.5 points and Sandy Creek placed 18th with 71 points.

135 - John Donaldson, SMHS, 6th
140 - Jordan Strain, WHS, 1st
