Hellenic services start tonight

St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church in Peachtree City will celebrate the Feast of the Dormition of the Theotokos and the Transfiguration with special August services beginning tonight at 7 p.m. Services for this special time include:
• Wednesday, Aug. 1, Paraklesis service at 7 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 3, Paraklesis service at 7 p.m.
• Monday, Aug. 6, Transfiguration. Orthros at 6 p.m., Divine Liturgy at 7 p.m. and Lenten Community Dinner.
• Wednesday, Aug. 8, Paraklesis service at 7 p.m.
• Friday, Aug. 10, Paraklesis service at 7 p.m.
• Monday, Aug. 13, Paraklesis service at 7 p.m.
• Tuesday, Aug. 14, Eve of the Dormition of the Theotokos. Orthros at 6 p.m., Divine Liturgy at 7 p.m. and Community Dinner .
A member of the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta, St. Christopher HOC is at 313 Dividend Dr. in Peachtree City. The Very Rev. Fr. George Tsahakis serves as pastor of the community of Orthodox Christians who reside in the south metro area. Weekly Sunday services include Orthros at 7:45 a.m. and Divine Liturgy at 9 a.m.
