The next in the series of free family films is coming to the Villages Amphitheater this Friday with the family favorite, “Charlotte’s Web.” Join other families under the stars to watch the classic tale of friendship, love and loyalty on Friday, July 27. Georgia-local Dakota Fanning returns to the Villages Amphitheater big screen as Fern with her young pig Wilbur and the spider that ultimately saves his life. This modern animal fable, in which barnyard characters can speak both with each other and with Fern, is a beloved classic for people of all ages. The Free Family Fun Film Nights are sponsored by Chick-Fil-A, J93.3 and the Main Street Tourism Association. Gates open at 8 p.m. with the movie beginning at 9 p.m. or dark. Plan to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the movie. Tickets may still be purchased for the Sun City Peachtree Del Webb Summer Concert Series for Dionne Warwick on Aug. 11 and Lonestar on Sept. 8.
