Maybelle A. Shi, 90, Sharpsburg, formerly of Peachtree City, died July 16, 2007. She was born April 3, 1917 in Macon. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. James Duncan Shi Jr. She was a member of the Peachtree City United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Ad Loy Ho Sunday School Class. Graveside services were at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City, with the Rev. Betsy Haas officiating. Survivors include a son, James D. Shi III, Boca Raton, Fla.; a daughter, Linda S. Tumlin, Sharpsburg; grandchildren, Steven W. Tumlin, Sharpsburg, Pamela Shi Fox, Winston-Salem, N.C., and Daphne Shi Smith, St. Petersburg, Fla.; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Mackenzie, and Tyler Smith; a brother, Jack Anderson, Macon; and a sister, Betty Anderson Smith, Lizella, Ga. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
