Grace church to host Freedom firm’s Malstead

Liberty Baptist plans dinner, concert
The Mission Ministry at Liberty Baptist Church will host a barbecue dinner and concert, Friday, Aug. 3. Dinner is at 5:30 p.m. Tickets for adults are $5, children 3 to 10 years $3. Providence will offer the Alpha course
Providence United Methodist Church will offer the Alpha Course, an 11-week practical introduction to the Christian faith, beginning Sunday, Aug. 19 from 5-7 p.m. This course is for everyone—new Christians, old Christians or those searching for answers. Classes are conducted in a relaxed atmosphere and include dinner, followed by a video and discussion. Alpha is free and childcare is provided. Fairburn’s St. John A.M.E. plans 5K race Saturday
St. John A.M.E. Church will have a 5K community race and family fun walk this Saturday morning, July 28, beginning at 7 a.m. Registration fee is $25 and includes a T-shirt. Registration forms are available at the church now and registration will be accepted the day of the race beginning at 6:45 a.m. The church is at 305 W. Campbellton Street in Fairburn.
