Prudential Georgia Realty’s new Coweta office hosted its grand opening and official ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 21 from 5-7p.m.

The 6,000 square foot office is located in Newnan at 2525 Hwy. 34. Prudential Georgia Realty acquired the office in May when it merged Century 21 Hand Real Estate into its 25-office metro Atlanta operation.

Approximately 250 people attended the catered event. Local dignitaries on hand for the grand opening included ambassadors from the Newnan Coweta Chamber of Commerce, Newnan Coweta Board of Realtors President-elect Sherry Blackmon, and Linda Murphy of the local Women’s Council of Realtors.

The new Prudential branch has room for 55 real estate agents and, like all its offices, has state-of-the-art technology to assist its agent team. Cynthia Hand-Hart, who serves as managing broker for the office, will be actively interviewing experienced real estate professionals to expand her sales team in the next few months. Prudential Georgia Realty was named a Best Place to Work in Georgia in 2007 by Georgia Trend. The firm has also been a Consumers’ Choice Award winner for the last three consecutive years.
