The Newnan Theatre Company will open the next show in their Artist Series this weekend when they present the hilarious comedy “Playing Doctor.”

Written by the comedy duo William Van Zandt and Jane Milmore, this comedy of deception, mistaken identities, and surprises revolves around Rob Brewster, a struggling young writer.

Directed by Dave Hanson, “Playing Doctor,” which opened July 19, will play July 20-22, July 27-29 and Aug. 2-4. Shows begin at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m. This production is presented in the company’s black box theatre space and seating is limited.
