The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) has announced that former NFL coach Dan Reeves and former Washington Redskin Darrell Green will serve as panel speakers at FCA's annual Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Breakfast to be held on Dec. 28 at 7:45 a.m. at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis.

Reeves, a former NFL player and coach, last appeared in the league as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons. The current record-holder for the most Super Bowl appearances as a player and coach with nine, Reeves was drafted as a quarterback out of the University of South Carolina by the Dallas Cowboys in 1965. After being slowed by injuries, Reeves retired from playing in 1972 and took several position coaching jobs before becoming the head coach of the Denver Broncos in 1981. Reeves' career coaching record is 201-174-2, including an 11-9 record in the playoffs.

During his 20-year career with the Redskins, Darrell Green received almost as much positive recognition off the field, as on. A seven-time Pro Bowl selection and two-time Super Bowl winner, Green was named the NFL's Man of the Year in 1996, a year in which he was also named the NFL Defensive Player of the Year for his work at cornerback. Green also was recognized with numerous other humanitarian and sportsmanship awards, and was in 2002 named to the 70 Greatest Redskins Team.

In addition to Reeves and Green, the breakfast will include players and coaches from both bowl teams: Miami and LSU.

One of the leading outreach organization for student-athletes on junior high, high school and college campuses, FCA focuses on "impacting the world for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches,” said FCA Area Director Randy Bruno. FCA provides an alternative to the pressures prevalent in today’s schools through student-led campus groups, camps, and the nationally recognized One Way 2 Play- Drug Free program.

The breakfast is open to the public. For ticket information, contact the FCA Southwest Metro Atlanta office at 770-716-5826, or to visit their website at www.atlantafca.org.
