Vet clinic proposed at Summit PointTue, 07/17/2007 - 4:09pm
By: Ben Nelms
Development plans for a proposed veterinary clinic at Summit Point Shopping Center include the construction of a one-story, 9,000 square-foot veterinary clinic on 2.37 acres at 565 South Glynn St., the Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission was told at the July 10 work session. Dr. Mike Yonker told commissioners the clinic would include 7,000 square feet and an additional 2,000 square feet for an intensive care area. Responding to questions from the commission, Yonker said the facility would not be used as a kennel. Yonker currently owns two other veterinary clinics that would be consolidated if the proposal is approved. City planning staff recommended approval contingent on five conditions. The issue will be continued at the commission’s July 24 meeting. login to post comments |
