Local student participates in Impact 360 leadership program

Students enrolled in the top-tier gap year program known as IMPACT 360 just got a taste of what it takes to run a billion dollar restaurant business—a servant’s heart. Fayette County resident Zach Fallon was one of the 18 students enrolled in the inaugural class.

Several Impact 360 students had the privilege of traveling with Chick-fil-A president Dan Cathy in the company jet to learn what successful leadership looks like and how it translates in the real world.

In addition to this special trip, CEO and Founder S. Truett Cathy visited the campus to speak with the students. He encouraged students to pursue the same biblical principles concerning leadership that helped shape the award-winning Chick-fil-A franchise for the last 40 years.

IMPACT 360 is a gap year program that takes students (graduating high school seniors and first/second year college students) on a nine-month odyssey designed to equip and challenge the leaders of tomorrow. Graduates receive a leadership certificate from Chick-fil-A University and gain insight into discovering how their God-given gifts can be used in the marketplace. This unique program started with a dream to empower future leaders.

For program founders, John and Trudy Cathy White, developing future leaders with a biblical worldview is their passion. The program’s goal is to impact the lives of those student leaders who are already making a difference in their community. This year’s students make up the inaugural IMPACT 360 class, making the dream a reality—taking a step towards the future.
