Gary H. Rupert, 62, Fayetteville, died July 6, 2007. He was born Jan. 1, 1945 in Artesia, Calif., son of Willard and Stella Rupert. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War. He had worked for Delta Air Lines for nine years and was a real estate appraiser for First American until he retired due to disability. He was an avid golfer with a tremendous love for the game. Services were at the Fayette Presbyterian Church with interment at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Veronica "Roni" Rupert, Fayetteville; a son, Scott and Bethany Rupert; a daughter, Jill and David Yanik; grandchildren, Maggie and Will Rupert; sisters, Joyce and Don Stearns, and Phyllis Billingsley; mother and father-in-law, Margaret and Hope Propes Jr.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joel and Pam Propes; nephews, Sam Propes, Steve Motter, Randy White, and Don DeVinney; and nieces, Whitney Propes, and Marla Billingsley. Memorial donations may be given to the Fayette Presbyterian Church or the Crossroads Hospice. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge. login to post comments |
