Tyrone Police are seeking information regarding an armed robbery near midnight Monday at the BP/Amoco station on Ga. Highway 74 and Tyrone Road.

Police described the robber as a black male wearing a black mask, a gray hooded sweatshirt and gloves. The man produced a handgun prior to forcing the clerk into the office and removing the store’s cash, according to Public Information Officer Brandon Perkins.
