Virginia Munroe, 82,Douglsville, died July 3,2007. She was born Feb. 21, 1925 in Cleveland, Ga., where she lived until marrying and moving to Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lamar Ellis Munroe. She was a waitress for many years at Mary Mac's Tea Room. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Tyson Griffin officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include sons, Lamar Munroe Jr., Douglasville, and Kell and Charlene Munroe, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Kell Munroe Jr., and Christy Teich; great-granddaughter-to-be, Ryan Carys Teich; and sisters, Dottie Lee, Cranberry, Texas, and Edith Boss, Conyers. Memorial donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
