Sarah M. Samples, 55, Fayetteville, died July 5, 2007. She was born May 2, 1952 in Heard County. She was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include her husband, Marvin W. Samples, Fayetteville; a son, Joel and Dana Samples, Fayetteville; a daughter, Sharon and Brent Davis, Griffin; grandchildren, Carley Pope, Griffin, and Grayson Samples, Fayetteville; a brother, Hudson and Charlotte Thomaston, Carrollton; and a sister, Sue Thomaston, Franklin. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
