U.S. Rep. Lynn Westmoreland will host Fayette County town hall meeting today at 9:30 a.m. to educate and assist seniors seeking help choosing a prescription drug plan under Medicare. Sign up has begun and benefits are set to begin Jan. 1, 2006. Westmoreland will host officials from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, who'll help Medicare recipients sign up for the drug benefit. The event will be held at the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce, 200 Courthouse Square, Fayetteville.
