Sandy Creek High School students earn scholarshipsTue, 07/03/2007 - 2:57pm

Melissa Holzworth and Christopher Wiles, both of Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, have been awarded a Quad/Graphics Freshmen Scholarship to attend Georgia Southern University’s Graphic Communications Management program in Statesboro. Both students will enter into the program in the fall 2007 semester. Quad/Graphics is the largest privately held commercial printer in the western hemisphere, with their core business focusing on magazine, catalog, inserts, direct mail and commercial markets. They provide full production services, from design, photography through printing and finishing, using the most modern equipment and service approaches in the industry. Graduates will secure permanent positions in areas related to print media production, publishing, imaging, and as sales representatives, supervision or account managers.
