Merrill Harris Jr., 78, Peachtree City, died June 27,2007. He was born in Coweta County, son of Merrill Morgan and of Addie Ruth Harris. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Glenn Stringham officiating. Interment was at Senoia City Cemetery, Coweta County. Survivors include a son, Scott Harris, Peachtree City; a daughter, Melanie Verser, Alpharetta; a grandchild, Trey Humphries; and a sister, Betty Stanley, Griffin. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
