Roy Price,80, Fayetteville, died June 28, 2007. He was born May 9, 1927 in Marietta, Ga. He was born and reared there but has lived in Fayette County for the past 30 years. He was retired from General Motors, Doraville. A memorial service will be this Saturday, July 7th, at 2 p.m., at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Tom Burdett officiating. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Betty Price, Fayetteville; a daughter, Linda Pilcher, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Scott and Tara Pilcher, Darren and Katie Pilcher, and Teri Leigh Pilcher; great-grandchildren, Aron and Austin Pilcher, and Sean and Abby Hughes; and sisters, Gladys and Voin Calhoun, and Rita and Chuck Matthews, Covington. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
