Dellano Eugene Bowles, 72, Fayetteville, died June 29, 2007. He was born Aug. 11, 1934 in Troup County. He was retired from the United States Army with 20 years and had served in Viet Nam. He was also retired from the United States Postal Service. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Pastor Tim Woodruff and Pastor David Phillips officiating. Interment was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Bowles, Fayetteville; sons, Mark and Joni Bowles, Sharpsburg, and Mike and Sandra Bowles, Newnan; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother; and three sisters. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
