Edna Alice Lyle Mayfield, 91, Fayetteville, formerly of Atlanta, died June 23, 2007. She was born Aug. 17, 1915 in Fulton County. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Logan L. Mayfield. She was a graduate of Commercial High School, Atlanta, and a member of Sylvan Hills Baptist Church. She was retired from Rich’s downtown. Services were at the Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, East Point with Chaplain Rick Harden officiating. Interment was at Crest Lawn, Atlanta. Survivors include daughters, Sandra and Johnny Southerland, Decatur, and Judy and Wayne Bramlett, Fayetteville; and a sister-in-law, Jane Lyle, Conyers. Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, East Point, was in charge.
