K-Kids receive awards

Sara Harp Minter Elementary's K-Kids receive two distinguished honors from the Kiwanis Club. The first award was given to Christina Roth, who is the 2006-07 K-Kids president and a fifth grade student at Sara Harp Minter. She was named the second place winner in the Kiwanis Georgia District K-Kids Leadership Award and she was recognized with this award due to her school leadership and volunteer hours in the community, girl scouts, church activities, and K-Kids. The second award, the Distinguished K-Kids Club Award, went to Sara Harp Minter's K-Kids club and was accepted by Lin Zacherl, who is the K-Kids sponsor.
