Gallopade International and Peachtree City Press announce the publication of The Peachtree City Coloring Book. The educational and fun book was created and written by local author Carole Marsh. The original artwork was done by Trevor McCarl, a student at the Atlanta campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design, and a Peachtree City native and resident.
"The book is designed to highlight the wonderful place that is Peachtree City," says Sherry Moss, editor of the book and Gallopade's New Product Development Manager. "It is fun and educational, inexpensive, and designed for all the kids in a family. We believe it will help children appreciate and take pride in their superlative town." The Peachtree City Coloring Book features Lake Peachtree, the fire department, the All Children's Playground, the Fourth of July parade and fireworks show, Falcon Field and Dixie Wing's historic aircraft, the Peachtree City Tennis Center, the Peachtree City Hall area, including the library, fountain, and memorial, among many other places, including a golf cart or two. The Peachtree City Coloring Book was published on Dec. 1 and will be featured and highlighted in a number of events throughout the month. "We believe all Peachtree City kids and visitors to our fair city will really enjoy this book," says the author. Books will be available for $4.95 at many booksellers, toy stores, and other retail locations in town. Call 770-631-4222 for information. The publisher has arranged special discounts for quantities of the book for sale to schools, daycares, and other institutions. login to post comments |
