The Peachtree City Optimist Club presented four Fayette County students with $750 scholarships to help with their college expenses. On Monday, May 14, club members, students and their parents came together to recognize these students for their accomplishments. Not only are they good students academically they are all involved in their community to make it a better place to live. Scholarship recipients pictured from left are: Tiffany Goss, Sandy Creek High School, Corey Putnam, Sandy Creek High School, Kim Christina Hart, Starr’s Mill High School and Jillian Turner, Sandy Creek High School.
