Mr. and Mrs. James Michael Satterfield of Senoia announce the engagement of their daughter, Christy Michelle Satterfield, to William Andrew Todd, son of Marty Seay Todd of Canton and Mr. and Mrs. William Todd of Senoia.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Donna Jean Chastain and the late William Herbert Chastain of Canton and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Patton Satterfield of Peachtree City. She is a graduate of Fayette County High School and a magna cum laude graduate of Shorter College where she received a bachelor’s degree in music education. She is a member of Phi Mu, holds the title of Miss Shorter College 2006, and currently works as the extensions coordinator for Phi Mu Fraternity in Peachtree City.

The future bridegroom’s grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. William Carter Seay of Canton and the late Mr. and Mrs. Todd of Senoia. He is a graduate of Cherokee High School, holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Georgia and a master’s degree in history from Georgia College and State University. He currently is a professor at Georgia Highlands College, and will attend Mercer Law School this fall.

The wedding will be June 23, 2007, at 6:30 p.m. at the Satterfield Home in Senoia.
