State and federal grants are being secured to allow for the repair and crack sealing of the runway and terminal-area ramps at Falcon Field, officials said.

Last week the Peachtree City Airport Authority authorized allowing its chairman to execute documents to accept the grants. The exact total amount of the grants is unknown at this point, according to Falcon Field Assistant Director Barry Griffith.

The airport serves light jets and smaller aircraft, including those owned by private individuals and those operated by local businesses.
