Fayette County Bullets competing for national title in Cooperstown, NYWed, 06/13/2007 - 2:46pm

The Fayette County Bullets from Fayetteville have been selected to play in the Cooperstown Dreams Park and American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame Invitational Tournament during the week of June 9 in the Magical Mythical Home of Baseball... Cooperstown, NY. In addition to competing against teams from around the country, members of the Fayette County Bullets will be enshrined in the prestigious American Youth Baseball Hall of Fame. The Bullets lost to Viper Baseball Academy from Huntsville, Alabama 2-0 in their first game but defeated the Tennessee Rockhounds 16-4 in their second game. The Fayette County Bullets ended their season at the Kiwanis Field on Redwine Road undefeated with 16 wins and 0 losses. The Bullets also took home the championship in the USSSA Metro Area Tournament, the USSSA Director’s Cup Championship and were the runner’s up in the Fletcher Baseball Spring Classic in Fayetteville. login to post comments |
