Ciani Walker

Ciani Walker, a fifth grade student at Spring Hill Elementary School, was chosen by District Attorney Scott Ballard as a finalist in an essay contest about law enforcement. In her essay, entitled “I Appreciate Police,” Walker expresses her admiration for police for their strength, positive attitude, and courage. She says she has seen them on the job and respects them for the work they do every day, and thanks them for the work they do to make Fayette County safe. Walker is the daughter of Cindi and Daood Walker. Pictured from left is Sharon Collins, assistant principal at Spring Hill, Ciani Walker and D.A. Scott Ballard.
