Joanie Sprayberry, 68, Riverdale, died June 4, 2007. She was born Nov. 3, 1938 in Calhoun, Ala. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elisa Ann Sprayberry. Services were at Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Cross and the Rev. Bill Priester officiating. Interment was at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City. Survivors include her husband, Gene Sprayberry, Riverdale; a son, Barry and Patti Sprayberry, McDonough; a daughter, Deborah and Doug Duty, Woodbridge, Va.; grandchildren, Ashley Duty Whorley, Aron Duty, Clay Sprayberry, and Rebekah Sprayberry; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Whorley. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
