Lawson Eugene Brown, 93, Fayetteville, died May 27, 2007. He was born April 16, 1914 in Lawrence County, Ga. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Mary Jo Brown. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Jack Hill officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ruth Brown, Fayetteville; a daughter, Gwen Holmes, Fayetteville; and a sister, Elizabeth Denneberg, Clarksville, Va. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
