The Father Time Invitational Road Race is the beginning of a new tradition that will take place in Fayette County, on December 31 every year. The race is open to everyone. The goals are to provide a safe, fun and healthy celebration on New Year’s Eve in a community atmosphere and to provide financial support to high school cross country and; track and field programs in Fayette County. There are no paid positions in the Father Time Foundation and Father Time Road Race organization. The 2005 hosts are the City of Brooks and the Brooks Recreation Department with supporting help from Fayette County Sheriffs and Fire & Emergency Service Department.
