Kathryn Irene Murchison of Fayetteville and Darren Mitchell McPhail of Elizabethtown, N.C., were married April 28, 2007, at Porterfield Memorial United Methodist Church in Albany. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Frank Murchison Jr. of LaGrange, formerly of Fayetteville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Mitchell McPhail of Elizabethtown, N.C. The Rev. Nathan Godley performed the ceremony. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a diamond white strapless, satin Maggie Sottero gown encrusted with glass and crystal beads. She carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis, accented with pearls. The matron of honor was the bride’s cousin, Mrs. Suzanne Moore, of White Plains. The bridesmaids included Kylie Little and Alison Williamson, both of Fayetteville, Amy Summers of Cleveland, Ohio, Brannon Stewart of Trussville, Ala., Lauren Webb of Statesboro, Alison Shenton of Valdosta and Ashley Bowers of Tifton. Laine Futral and Eden Murchison, both of Senoia, served as flower girls. Terry McPhail, the groom’s father, was the best man. The groomsmen included Michael Leinwand and Bryon Melvin, both of Elizabethtown, N.C., Justin Leinwand of Raleigh, N.C., Chris Holland of Clinton, N.C. and Benjamin Leder of Whiteville, N.C. Will Futral and Jet Murchison were the ring bearers. A reception was held after the ceremony at the Hilton Garden Inn in Albany, with music provided by The Broken Glass Band. The couple honeymooned in Jamaica and now resides in Leesburg. login to post comments |
