The dry weather has proven to be a boon for construction of Tyrone's new library. During Thursday's Town Council meeting, town manager Barry Amos announced the construction crew was ahead of schedule on building the facility. If everything goes as planned, construction could be completed by the first week of December.

Still, Amos said the contractor would like to see some rain to help deal with the dust problem at the construction site.
