Heritage of Peachtree Retirement and Assisted Living is hosting a free seminar to educate Medicare Beneficiaries about Medicare's new prescription drug coverage and plans. The program, called "2006 Medicare Prescription Drug Plans, Let's Talk Specifics" is presented by Prescription Pathway, a Medicare-approved Prescription Drug Plan. A Prescription Pathway representative will conduct the seminar which will aid Medicare Beneficiaries in understanding, evaluating and choosing the right prescription drug plan for them.

The new Medicare-approved prescription drug plans from Prescription Pathway, give Medicare Beneficiaries the protection and benefits thay always wanted. The plans are easy to use and require virtually no paperwork. Medicare Beneficiaries attending the seminar can get answers to important questions such as:

*How do the plans really work?

*Can I really save money?

*How do I know if my medications will be covered?

*How do I sign up?

*What do I need to know to choose the plan that is right for me?

*What will the plans cost me?

Medicare Beneficiaries can sign up for coverage now and coverage begins Jan. 1, 2006. The Medicare prescription drug coverage that begins Jan. 1 will have an average monthly premium of $32.20, but the actual plan costs will vary, based on benefits and co-payments.

The free seminar is Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. at Heritage of Peachtree, 1967 Highway 54 West, Fayetteville. Heritage is located next to Flat Creek Animal Clinic.
