Allied Healthcare Clinics, Inc., Home of “The Running Doctor,” has opened another location at 170 Bastille Way in Fayetteville and is ready to celebrate. This totally free event begins at noon and goes on until 8 p.m. Dec. 13. There will also be a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce at 5:30 p.m.

“We will be opening our doors to the community in celebration of our new location. Anyone can come by to enjoy free food and fun,” said owner Dr. John N. Thomas. “In addition, free chiropractic consultations, sports injury screenings, scoliosis screenings, mini massages and facials, health and stress screenings, blood pressure checks, and full body detoxification mini-talks will be available. You don’t have to be an athlete to participate. Everybody’s invited! Bring your family and your friends.”

Dr. Thomas, better known as “The Running Doctor,” treats patients of all ages and athletic abilities. Many of his patients are local and national class runners who come in with all types of sports injuries. Dr. Thomas is well known for his muscle stripping and full body detoxification protocols. He will be answering questions about how his powerful techniques keep his athletes running pain-free.

LTC Sue Bozgoz — all-Army athlete, marathoner, national class runner, certified fitness coach, and owner of Fit2Run Long — will be on hand to answer questions and design personalized walking, running and physical fitness plans (based on your current level of fitness) for the first first 50 guests.

Their therapeutic massage team, James Kizer, Gretchen Hall and Joshua Brown, specializes in muscle management techniques that facilitate long lasting, and natural pain relief. They will all be available to give free massages.

Amy Varghese, office manager, will provide free advice on Dr. Thomas’ Full Body Detoxification Program. “Anyone wanting to feel good again must consider this awesome detox program,” she said. “You may even lose weight and inches.”

Dr. Katanya Ford, the family practitioner on staff, specializes in chiropractic treatment for mothers-to-be who are suffering from the common pains of pregnancy that can not be remedied by over-the –counter or prescription medications. She offers natural alternatives to pain relief that all pregnant women may benefit from. Dr. Ford will be available to answer questions about how she may be able to eliminate pregnancy related muscle aches and pain with her drug free all natural techniques.
