Christ’s Church at Whitewater invites all children 3 years old through fifth grade to the second annual “Kid’s Christmas Adventure”, Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The event, which is free of charge, is designed for parents to spend a “day out,” while their children enjoy a fun-filled atmosphere of games, stories, crafts, and activities as well as a live nativity and children’s musical. “Kid’s Christmas Adventure is our way of reaching out and expressing God’s love to the local community this Christmas season, said children’s minister Tina Parker. Kid’s Christmas Adventure will be staffed by experienced children’s workers from the church and preschool. Lunch and a snack are included. Limited space is available. Early registration is encouraged so the staff can adequately prepare for the event. To register your child, contact the church office, 770-461-1487. Registration is also available the day of the event from 9-9:30 am. The program concludes at 4:30 pm although a child may be picked up by a parent or guardian at any time during the day.
