Maurie Claire Eubanks, 64, Brooks, died May 21, 2007. He was born Sept. 29, 1942 in Dade County, Fla. He was preceded in death by a sister, Ross Schultz. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was an avid Street Rodder enthusiast and enjoyed coaching youth baseball and football with the Optimist Club. He spent his life building everything from homes to malls to hospitals. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with Chaplain Kimberly Hardin officiating. Interment was at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery, Tifton, Ga. Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline Eubanks; a son, Greg Eubanks; daughters, Shelley Bamonte, and Julie Michelet; and grandchildren, Jessica Hicks, and Jake Eubanks. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
