David Turk, of Peachtree City, Ga., received his Eagle Scout award on December 12, 2006. Turk is a member of Boy Scout troop 309. For his Eagle service project, Turk built three garden benches for the Bedford School in Fairburn, Ga. Turk is the son of Chris and Tammy Turk and recent graduate of Starr’s Mill High School where he was a member of the advanced orchestra, the academic team, the science olympiad team, the economics team, National Honor Society and Beta Club.
