• Chantel Maleree Cooper has graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor of science degree in psychology. She received honors as a Magna Cum Laude graduate. She has also received honor cords for the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, W.E.B. Dubois Honor Society, Phi Eta Sigma, and Phi Beta Kappa. Cooper has been accepted into FSU’s College of Law where she will receive a merit scholarship and begin her studies in the fall 2007. Her future career goal is to become a juvenile court judge, in hopes to make a positive difference in the lives of our youth. She is the daughter of Michelle Kelley (John) and Eddie Cooper (Shan). • Erin M. Ramsey of Peachtree City has been inducted into the Samford University chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha national political science honor society. New members were selected on the basis of outstanding academic performance and exemplary citizenship. She is is a sophomore political science major at Samford. Ramsey is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Ramsey. • Air Force Airman Raymond D. Cosby has graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. During the six weeks of training, the airman studied the Air Force mission, organization, and military customs and courtesies; performed drill and ceremony marches, and received physical training, rifle marksmanship, field training exercises, and special training in human relations. In addition, airmen who complete basic training earn credits toward an associate degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
