Matthew Niebes, a member of Peachtree City United Methodist Church, is shown receiving his God and Church Award. The presentation was made by his confirmation teacher, Chlora Myers, at a recent troop Court of Honor. The God and Church Award is part of the God and Country program of religious awards, for young men and women in grades 6-8. Matthew is a Scout in Troop 309, sponsored by the American Legion Fayette County Post 105.
