Courtney Leigh Wood and Jeffrey Michael Cass were married April 28, 2007, at Fayetteville Christian Church. The Rev. Dan Roberts performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Greg Wood of Fayetteville.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Cass of Newnan.

Denise Coleman, pianist, provided the prelude music prior to the ceremony. Stephen Walker and Lance Bowen were soloists. David Wallace was the trumpeter for the bridal procession.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an ivory gown which featured a strapless neckline with illusion beaded boned bodice and ruched taffeta and organza overlay of English net and lace. She carried a hand-tied bouquet adorned with her grandmother’s cameo.

Maid of honor was Marlee Wood, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Morgin Ross, Allison Stubbs, Jessie Anderson, Allison Bryant, Amanda Moncrief and Tara Hartog. Junior Bridesmaids were Emily Ochs and Brittney Cass. The flower girl was Jillian Bates.

Best men were Jarrett Inman and Chris Woods. Groomsmen were Nathan Bear, Jeff Derwinski, Brian Dickson, Mike Harrell and Andre Tuoyo. Junior groomsman was Alec Ochs and the ring bearer was Jake Stubbs.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at The Links Golf Course. The couple was also honored at a rehearsal dinner hosted by the groom’s parents at Flat Creek Country Club.

Following a wedding trip to Rosemary Beach, Fla., the couple will reside in Sharpsburg.
