Harvey Garcia, supervisor of the Peachtree City public works landscape crew, assists the Peachtree City Veterans of Foreign Wars by installing one of the 123 new memorial bricks at the Veterans Memorial in City Hall/Library Plaza. New bricks are laid each year right before Peachtree City’s annual Memorial Day Celebration, which begins Monday at 9 a.m. A golf cart procession will begin at the Gathering Place at 8:30 a.m., travel around Lake Peachtree and finish at the plaza just in time for the event.
