Gift Certificates and a special $99 Three-Play Card are now available for purchase online at www.GeorgiaGolf.com. Gift certificates are available in increments of $50, $75 and $100. With golf rounds well under $50 statewide, this is a great way to treat a golfer to a great golfing experience.

For golfers who want variety and a challenge, the $99 Three-Play Card is a great way to sample the three northeast Georgia State Park Golf Courses. It makes a great gift for any golfer. And it’s a perfect way to say “thank you” to clients, employees, and even vendors. The special one-time only Three-Play Card is valid for play at Arrowhead Pointe at Lake Richard B. Russell in Elberton, The Creek at Hard Labor in Rutledge and Highland Walk at Victoria Bryant in Royston..

Arrowhead Pointe is the newest state park golf course and has proven to be one of the most exciting. With 10 of the 18 holes skirting the lake along the South Carolina border, it’s challenging as well as scenic. Many believe the course will be named one of the top new courses in the U.S. by national golf publications this year. The Creek at Hard Labor, located between Covington and Madison, received a special face-lift this past summer. The course was closed for a little more than two months to allow the greens to be enlarged by more than 65 percent and to convert the grass to an exciting new ultra-dwarf hybrid, called Champion Bermuda. Its unique planting and grow-in process has amazed even the most skeptical of golfers, since the greens were better than ever within a few short weeks of re-opening in August. Highland Walk, as the name suggests, boasts 18 holes carved into rolling terrain. Located north of Gwinnett County, it’s considered one of the more scenic courses in northeast Georgia and the most difficult of all the state’s courses.

The $99 Three Play Card is available in limited quantities through February. The card allows the holder to play a single 18-hole round with cart at each of the three participating courses through March 10, 2006. It’s a savings of 20 percent on weekends. Gift certificates are valid at all eight Georgia State Park courses. They can be purchased online at www.GeorgiaGolf.com or by calling toll free 1-800-982-3691.

The Golf Operations Section develops and operates the golf facilities in the Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites Division. The eight courses were developed over the past forty years and placed in various state parks to improve the quality of life for local citizens and provide visitors to Georgia an opportunity to play golf in a beautiful, natural setting.
