Hudson Plaza rezoning deniedWed, 05/23/2007 - 3:21pm
By: Ben Nelms
It was a “no go” for the request to rezone Hudson Plaza Shopping Center on N. Glynn Street from C-2 to C-3. Fayetteville Planning & Zoning Commission Tuesday denied the request saying it did not conform to the city’s Future Land Use Plan. The denial centered on the Midas Muffler Shop, which is permitted under C-2 zoning but would require a special exception under C-3. The request will be heard by the city council in June. Commissioners did approve revised development plans for the 4,200 square-foot Sears dealer store located at 539 N. Glynn Street. The business will be located in the former Jan’s Floral Shop building. login to post comments |
