Frances A. Jenkins, 79, Conyers, died May 11, 2007. She was a native of DeKalb County, and was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church Tyrone. She was a member of the Recycled Kids Senior Adult Ministry. Services were at the Horis A. Ward Funeral chapel with Pastor Steve Love and the Rev. Scott Pickering officiating. Interment was at Green Meadow Memorial Gardens, Conyers.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, George W. Jenkins, Conyers; a son, Danny and Diane Jenkins, Conyers; daughters, Donna Slaton, Tyrone, and Sandra and David Boynton, Covington; grandchildren, Mike Jenkins, Jaime Foster, Justin and Deanne Boynton, Jason and Nicole Boynton, and Julianne Slaton; six great-grandchildren; and sisters-in-law, Frances Adams, and Lorene Adams. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 3 Corporate Square, Ste. 120, Atlanta, GA 30329. Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, Rockdale Chapel, was in charge.
