Sunday, May 27, is Pentecost Sunday and marks the annual Global Day of Prayer (GDOP) when Christians around the world will be united in a day of repentance and prayer.

A GDOP Brunch is scheduled for Saturday, May 26, at 11 a.m. at Unity Christian Church, 426 Rivers Rd. in north Fayette County. The Rev. Smith Atwater is senior pastor (unityministry@bellsouth.net). A GDOP Worship and Prayer Gathering will be held Sunday, May 27, from 3-5 p.m. at Operation Mobilization (OM) in Tyrone. This event is sponsored by the churches and ministries of Unite Atlanta Southwest.
